Background

Mr. Ruiz was born and raised in Southern California. He attended the University of California Santa Barbara and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society. Thereafter, Mr. Ruiz attended law school at the University of La Verne College of Law where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law, Business & Ethics.

Mr. Ruiz began his legal career working for a firm in Riverside, California, practicing in numerous fields including civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, and workers’ compensation. Initially representing Applicants in workers’ compensation law, Mr. Ruiz eventually defended insurance companies, third-party administrators and uninsured employers. He has expertise in early settlement resolution, trials, and dismissals, and excels in prompt communications with his clients at all stages of claim handling.

In his spare time, Mr. Ruiz enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and finding new and exciting places to eat.
