Emily was born and raised in Chico, CA.  She first learned of and expressed her desire to be a part of the legal field in 2018 while attending Butte College in pursuit of her AA degree in Political Science.  At Butte College Emily was a part of the Honor Roll and from there, in 2020, ventured south to obtain a BA degree in Political Science from UC San Diego along with her Paralegal Certificate from the UC San Diego Extended Studies Program.  Following her education, Emily has returned to her hometown to help her community and to advance in her career.

Prior to joining CBE Law Group, Emily began her work in the legal field, specifically in worker's compensation defense, for a year while enrolled in college.  Since then, she has been inspired by the field and is excited to further her experience and development at our firm.  Emily also has considerations of law school in the future.

In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her six animals, writing poetry, traveling, and attending music festivals.
