Background

Jason Coker brings a wealth of experience to CBE Law Group, having worked in workers' compensation defense from multiple aspects, as both in-house counsel for an insurance carrier and as outside counsel for law firms.

During his undergraduate degree, Jason took courses in advocacy and argumentation, and developed a passion for structured analysis to organize negotiation strategies which lent itself to the field of law. Initially trained by an independent hearing representative in workers’ compensation defense, Jason began his career as support staff for a small group of hearing representatives. He had the opportunity to become a hearing representative himself, making appearances at the WCAB, and working his way through law school at night. These experiences give him a well-rounded perspective in the field, with over 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation industry.

Based on the attention to detail needed in the industry, his commitment to evaluate each case based on its merits and identifying significant facts, has allowed him to successfully effectuate plans of action to resolve legal issues as efficiently as possible.

Outside of work, he and his family are involved in their church congregation and enjoy spending time at local parks.
